A typical day

A typical day

From 8:50am to 1:00pm, there are five class periods, with a mid-morning break for hot chocolate/snack at 10:15.

Monday midday: a whole-school assembly for announcements, thoughts and exchanging ideas. On the other days of the week, lunch is followed by some free time.

From 1.50pm to 3.25pm: Obligatory programmes with a wide range of activities where children can discover their strengths and preferences in sports, arts, music and other activities.

From 3.35pm to 4.20pm after a balanced and plentiful tea-time snack: three quarters of an hour of study supervised by teachers who follow pupils’ progress.

From 4.30pm to 5.40pm: going home or time for private language, robotics, music, IT & programming, SAT and other classes.

Occasionally during a week, other activities may also take place such as cultural outings or dinners, lectures, the Forum or Model United Nations debates or teacher/student sport challenges.

Committees & Clubs

Committee

The Student Committee is elected by the School’s students; it is responsible for organising numerous social and leisure activities and parties as well as promoting the integration of new students, ensuring, for example, that there is no bullying within the school community. The committee also represents students who appear before a disciplinary council.

Clubs

Multiple activities supplement the arts and sports offered at our school: cultural and literary clubs, debate clubs, the Model United Nations and the Yearbook preparation club.
